Muslim Pilgrimage Tours (Dargah Ziyaarat)

Tour Route: Delhi-Roorkee-Agra-Fatehpur Sikri--Jaipur-Ajmer-Jaipur-Delhi.

Day 01 - Arrive Delhi
On arrival at Delhi, after clearing immigration and customs, step into the receiving area where you will be met and assisted by Grand Travel Planner representative and transferred to the hotel for a Check-in. Delhi a dynamic city where the past and the present coexist, has been ruled by numerous dynasties. The city is rich in the architecture of its monuments. Diverse cultural elements absorbed into the daily life of the city have enriched its character. Seven times this city went through the pain of being built, destroyed and rebuilt. It has been witness to many important events in Indian history, and today it stands proud as the capital of India.


Day 02 - Delhi Sightseeing
After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour:
Jama Masjid: This great mosque of Old Delhi is the largest in India, with a courtyard capable of holding 25,000 devotees. The highly decorative mosque has three great gates, four towers and two 40 m-high minarets constructed of strips of red sandstone and white marble
.

Safdarjang Tomb: This is the last enclosed garden tomb in Delhi in the tradition of Humayun's Tomb and was built in 1753- 54 as mausoleum of Safdarjung, the viceroy of Awadh under the Mughal Emperor, Muhammed Shah.

Also visit Hazrat Khawaja Nizamuddin Auliya
- (1238 - 1325 AD) also known as Hazrat Nizamuddin, was a famous Sufi saint of the Chishti Order in India. He was born in Badayun (east of Delhi), though he later settled in Delhi, where his shrine (Nizamuddin Dargah) is still located.

Qutub Minar:
Qutub Minar is the highest stone tower in India. The construction of the Qutub Minar was started by Qutub-ud-Din Aibak in 1199 and it was finished by his successor and son-in-law, Iltutmish. The Qutub Minar was named after the Sufi saint, Khwaja Qutubuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki.

Humayun's Tomb:
After wandering in wilderness for 25 years, Humayun reoccupied Delhi in the year 1555 AD but he was not destined to rule any longer and died barely six months of his arrival, from a fall in his library, Sher Mandal. Humayun's tomb was built by his widow, Hajji Begum around 1565 AD

Day 03 - Delhi-Roorki-Delhi by Road 185 Km (3/4 Hours one Way)
Breakfast at the hotel. After that start (at 07h30) drive to Roorkee for same day excursion. On arrival visit Kaliyar Sharif Dargah. Arrive Piran Kaliyaar Sahib Dargah of Hazrat Makhdum Sayyed Allauddin Ali Ahmed . Piran Kaliyaar Sheriff (Dargah of Hazrat Makhdum Sayyed Allauddin Ali Ahmed - Sabir) - The famous Dargah Kaliyar Sharif is now in existence for about 800 years. The arrival of Khwaja Makhdoom Alauddin Ahmed Sabir Pak popularly known as "Baba Sabir" at Kaliyar unfolds some interesting episodes of his life. It is said that after his father's death, Sabir's mother Hazrat-e-Hazra brought him to Pakpattan in 1204 A D where her brother Baba Farid lived.
Eleven- year-old Sabir could make unusual predictions. The tomb of this Dargah was made by Ibrahim Lodhi. This place is one of the living examples of unity. Famed for its mystical powers that fulfill the desires of the devout, the Dargah is visited by millions of devotees from all religions from India and abroad. The Urs is celebrated at this Dargah every year, from the first day of sighting the moon to the sixteenth day during the Rabeeull month of the Islamic. Day 04 - Delhi- Agra by Road 210 Km (3/4 Hours)
After breakfast , Later drive to Agra transfer to the hotel. On arrival at Agra, check-in at the Hotel.

Day 05 - Agra-Fatehpur Sikri-Jaipur (235kms/5-6hrs)
After breakfast , Later Visit Agra Fort - the seat and the stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations. This was the seat of Mughal rule and administration and the present structure owes its origins to Akbar who erected the wall s and gates and the first buildings on the eastern banks of Yamuna River. Shah Jehan added the impressive quarters and the mosque while Aurangzeb added the outer ramparts. Visit its Hall of Public Audience and its Royal Pavilions.

Later proceed to Visit Fatehpur Sikri:
Fatehpur Sikri was a once blooming capital of the Mughal Emperor Akbar till 1585, when the city was abandoned due to the proximity of the area to the Rajputana neighborhood and scarcity of water. The capital was moved back to Agra and the town remained a ghost town during most of the older times. Fatehpur Sikri was established by Emperor Akbar from the twin villages of Fatehpur and Sikri as a tribute to the famous Sufi saint, Sheikh Salim Chishti. The saint accurately predicted the birth of Emperor Akbar's much longed for son.
Later Drive to jaipur and Transfer to Hotel.


Day 06 - Jaipur - Ajmer- Jaipur by Road 135 Km ( 02 Hrs 30 Min)
After Early breakfast at 08 am Drive to Ajmer: On arrival at Ajmer,
The Dargah Sharif of Khwaja Muddin Chishti is situated at the foot of the Taragah hill, and consists of several white marble buildings arranged around two courtyards, including a massive gate donated by the Nizam of Hyderabad and the Akbari Mosque, built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. It contains the domed tomb of the saint. Akbar and his queen used to come here by foot on pilgrimage from Agra every year in observance of a vow when he prayed for a son. The large pillars called “Kose (‘Mile’) Minar”, erected at intervals of two miles (3 km) along the entire way between Agra and Ajmer mark the places where the royal pilgrims halted every day.
Later Drive Back to jaipur and Transferred to Hotel.


Day 07 - Jaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Amber Fort, the former capital of the royal Rajputs. Few fail to be moved by the dramatic Rajput grandeur of this hilltop fortress-palace 11-km north of Jaipur. Set on the dry wrinkled Aravali Hills, and surrounded by fortified battlements, the palace straddles two sepia-hued tundra hills overlooking Maota Lake, and its sprawling crenellated walls lattice the surrounding hills. We will ride up to this hilltop palace on a caparisoned, painted elephant, passing through the ancient main gate where Maharajas of Jaipur have entered for four hundred years. Our guide will elaborate on the history of this architectural masterpiece with its mirror-studded alcoves, dazzling mosaics and water-cooled swings that delight today’s visitors as they did their former royal residents. Afternoon, visit Jaipur City. Visit Jal Mahal- This palace is situated in the center of Man Sagar lake and has got a major tourist attraction. Hawa Mahal or Palace of the Winds- Jaipur is synonymous with Hawa Mahal. This beautiful monument of India was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in the year 1799. Also known as the Palace of Winds, this beautiful monument is the landmark of Jaipur. The monument is five stories high and the front of the monument is delicately carved with beautiful motifs. We proceed for a guided tour of the City Palace & Observatory. The City Palace in the heart of the old city is a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Day 08 - Jaipur/Delhi by Road 285 Km( 4/5 Hours)
Later Drive back to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and transfer to your Prebooked Hotel Or Take a Flight in evening to go back Home.
